Second in his debut, #1 Chili Con Carne went one better in the penultimate contest, becoming the 4th horse to open his Mauritian account today, and most important of all, completed Jameer Allyhosain's and Ramesh Gujadhur's hat-trick.

This Rameshwar Gujadhur-trained gelding led right from the word go and was untroubled throughout, scoring an easy win.

#8 Down Under (Imran Chisty) and a vastly improved #7 Thrust (Akshay Balloo) were 2nd and 3rd respectively, while #3 Steal A March (Robbie Fradd) was 4th.
