Race 1 (0-20 – 990m)
#4 TAKE OFF MODE gets the vote in the opening contest of this classic meeting. He was last seen completing the quartet just two meetings ago and now in a weaker field, he should be able to renew with success. #1 Dunzie produced her best showing yet in the 26th meeting, finishing runner-up to Crazy Charlie. Now entered in a lower class, she is capable of going one better. #6 Captain Falcon’s recent form does not make good reading, but he did show up well with the blinkers in training, and he can run on improvement. #11 Special Force was not very far behind the winner in his last run, despite being stuck three-wide for most of the race. He can be thereabouts in this. #8 Northern Rebel and #3 Groban are rated as two decent outsiders.
Top Tip: #4 TAKE OFF MODE
Danger: #1 Dunzie
Dark Horse: #11 Special Force

Race 2 (0-25 – 1450m)
#3 THOMAS HENRY produced a near-cracker of a showing on his debut. He has come out well from that run and as he will appreciate running over a longer distance, he should go one better. #2 The Forerunner was second best on his debut, before going one better in his follow up. He may not have confirmed since, but has been right in the shake-up. He is a big player in this contest. #1 Secret Idea not only ended his drought in his last start, but earned Abishek Sonaram his first ever win. He remains well and is not prevented from confirming. #4 After The Order is another horse that has not confirmed, although he has not been totally outclassed either. He merits a lot of respect here. For the lower placings, #6 Gordonstoun and #7 Minaloushe Venture are good contenders.
Top Tip: #3 THOMAS HENRY
Danger: #2 The Forerunner
Dark Horse: #4 After The Order

Race 3 (B.31 – 1400m)
#6 TILL DAWN showed up very well over the 990 metres in the 24th meeting, landing 3rd place. Down in class and running over a longer distance, he is tipped to do even better this time round. #1 Ballantine Hall hung out very badly in the home straight in his last start, eventually losing out on victory. He has worked to satisfaction and is capable of bouncing back. #7 Travelin Man has finished third and runner-up in his first two races here. He has the ability to make it third time lucky. #5 Double Games scored his second win of his debut season in his last start, coming from behind as he did so. He remains in good shape and form, and his chances of confirming are to be taken very seriously. #2 Crazy Charlie introduced himself with a bang on his debut. He has come out well from that run and is capable of making it two from two. Outsiders worth considering include #9 Sand Path and #8 Learning To Fly.
Top Tip: #6 TILL DAWN
Danger: #1 Ballantine Hall
Dark Horse: #2 Crazy Charlie

Race 4 (B.36 – 990m)
#3 ROCK MANOR may not have had an answer to Toro Bravo in his last run, although he certainly lost no admirers. He can bounce back in this. #1 Dark Force opened his account for the season in his recent attempt. He remains well and is more than capable of confirming. #6 Zenzero was second best to the selection in the Princess Margaret Cup meeting. He returns after a break and having steadily progressed in terms of condition, he can be right in the mix. #5 Matchless Captain makes his debut for the Rameshwar Gujadhur yard, while #2 Mr Hardy runs for the first time since changing yards. Both are to be followed closely here.
Top Tip: #3 ROCK MANOR
Danger: #1 Dark Force
Dark Horse: #6 Zenzero

Race 5 (B.46 – 1500m)
Arguably the most wide-open race on the card! #4 SEA DANCE produced a genuine showing just two meetings ago, and that was in a far higher class. He will relish running in this lower class and should be competitive right from the word go. #3 Dynamite Jack may have finished unplaced on Maiden Cup day, but he rebounded in style in his last run. He remains well and is capable of confirming with Jameer Allyhosain retaining the ride. #11 Memphis Mafia comes into this race in the form of his life. He sealed his hat-trick in his last attempt and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he made it four on the trot here. #7 Viking Trail may still be winless, but has still performed honestly throughout the season. He can put an end to his drought here. #5 Promissory finally got the win he was looking for in his last run. He is capable of doubling the score and it is worth noting that he has good form in this class. #1 Captain Flynt has come out very well from his debut run. He will appreciate running over the longer trip and he can make his presence felt. #2 Hakeem is a class dropper and having caught the eye at track work, he won’t be very far away.
Top Tip: #4 SEA DANCE
Danger: #3 Dynamite Jack
Dark Horse: #2 Hakeem

Race 6 (B.56 – 1850m)
Set off as hot favourite in the 23rd meeting, #1 RED MARS found one better. He should have no problems running over the 1850 metres and can renew with success once again. #5 Consul Of War saw his winning streak come to an end in his previous run. He remains a very consistent sort and even in this higher class, he should go very close. #4 Spring Man normally blows hot and cold. On a good day, he can be irresistible and having benefited from a long break, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he showed his true colours. #6 Inn A Million came up short in his attempt to double the score in the 26th meeting. On his recent form, he merits serious consideration. #3 Rap Attack will appreciate running over the longer trip and if he can follow within striking range, he will be a genuine threat in the closing stages.
Top Tip: #1 RED MARS
Danger: #5 Consul Of War
Dark Horse: #3 Rap Attack

Race 7 – Swan – Duke Of York Cup (Group 1 – W.F.A – 1600m)
Cases can be made for most of the field in this Classic race. #5 Marauding’s ascension into the elite has made him a crowd puller. Based on what he shown thus far, it won’t be that much of a surprise if he pulls off another winning effort. #1 Undercover Agent is far better than what he served up in his last start. He looked well at track work and can mount a bold bid here. #3 ALYAASAAT was last seen justifying his status as favourite in a Group 3 in the 24th meeting. Well-trained, he can make it once again. #2 Black Cat Back made the headlines in the Colonel Draper Cup, going wire to wire in what was his seasonal debut. He has come out very well from that run and is capable of producing similar heroics once again. #4 The Dazzler was nabbed late by the selection in his last run. His connections have opted to enter him in this contest and he is not prevented from having his say.
Top Tip: #3 ALYAASAAT
Danger: #1 Undercover Agent
Dark Horse: #5 Marauding

Race 8 (B.36 – 1650m)
#4 WORDBUSTER proved to be the best of the rest behind Promissory in the 26th meeting. It was a very good showing, considering he was running over 1365 metres. The step up in trip here is clearly in his favour and with Bernard Fayd’herbe on board for the first time, he can go one better. #2 Kaydens Pride has had to make do with second place in his last two attempts. Down in class compared to his last run, he can set things straight here. #8 Senor’s Guest finally got the win he was looking for in his previous run. He has benefited from a break and even if he is up in class, he is a big player in this. #6 Power Tower was last seen scoring his first win here in the Princess Margaret Cup meeting. He is not prevented from confirming. #5 Alssakhra was not disgraced in his recent race, and is rated as a decent outsider here.
Top Tip: #4 WORDBUSTER
Danger: #2 Kaydens Pride
Dark Horse: #5 Alssakhra

Race 9 (0-26 – 990m)
#5 EL PATRON ran into issues in his last attempt. He has fully recovered and having worked to satisfaction, he sets the standard in this final contest. #6 Very Vary has two wins and a second in three races this season. He runs well fresh and is rated as the biggest threat to the selection. #1 Majestic Moon could not complete his hat-trick in his recent attempt. He is down in class and can be bang in the shake-up. #9 Manolete played his part in the finish of the final race of the 26th meeting. He still remains winless, although based on his recent form, he is capable of setting the record straight. #4 Bleu Royale and #7 Zeno make their debuts here and having shown up well in their trials, both are to be watched closely here.
Top Tip: #5 EL PATRON
Danger: #6 Very Vary
Dark Horse: #9 Manolete
