It is correct to state that it is more than a one-horse race in the first feature race of the weekend – The Major Paul Hein Cup over the Draper’s Mile. Even if it is just a field of six, the majority of them have already proven their worth this term, and another win here can only enhance their reputation.

The Ricky Maingard-trained FOOLS GOLD (Pierre Corne Orffer) comes into this race with a golden chance of sealing his hat-trick. After an eye-catching debut on the Duchess Of York Cup day, he has gone on to strike in his two follow-ups. He has come out well from a break, and has looked bang on form in his workouts. At the very least, he has the ability to make it once again.

IDITAROD TRAIL may have shown promise in his debut season in 2019, but he has taken his performances to another level this term. He has won three of his four races, and it is worth noting that on the occasion he did not win, he did not have an easy run throughout. This genuine performer is capable of earning Nooresh Juglall and the Gilbert Rousset yard yet another feature race win.

In four outings this term, VASCOSTREETTRACTOR (Rakesh Bhaugeerothee) has already notched up two wins. In his other two races, he has finished 3rd and it is fair to say that he might have done even better on both occasions. He had been widely expected to participate in the Princess Margaret Cup, only for a foot injury to rule him out. He has fully recovered and even if he has not been a superstar at track work, he still merits the greatest of respect here.

RAP ATTACK (Akash Aucharuz) made it onto the podium in his first two outings this term, albeit a very long way behind the winner on both occasions. In this contest, he is capable of making the frame.

THE SULTANS BAZAAR (Cedric Ségeon) and TRIPLE FATE LINE (Swapneel Rama) complete the line-up. The former has been affected by issues in his debut season, while the latter makes just his second start here. Both are rated as just outsiders.
