The racecaller of Swedish trots has struck again, putting the mozz on a leader of a Monte race last week by going the very early crow...and he has form in this area.
"It's all over, you can go to the payout queue. Raggamuffin's not going to lose this one", the confident commentator proclaimed as the leader moved strongly into the lead approaching the home turn at Orebro.
"Go and fetch your money early. Sorry, they have to weigh in first, but it's all over bar the shouting."
Unfortunately for backers of Raggamuffin who were off to collect their winnings the caller's curse was once again in play, with Raggamuffin going off stride halfway up the straight, earning a disqualification and gifting the race to Moons Madeira.
It came just a week after a similar early crow at Visby, where the recidivist declared Sofia Adolfsson home aboard Senorita Edel (outside), before getting pipped on the post by Enor Terdus.
The caller has gained notoriety not only through his recent early crows, but also due to some honest appraisals and mix-ups.
At the start of the Monte race at Orebro last week he was not impressed by the fact five of the competitors were wearing the same coloured cap.
The fact the jockey was still able to win the race failed to placate the caller, going on to describe it as 'an incredible stupid ride'.
He was also responsible for another memorable call last year when getting utterly confused over the concluding stages, mixing up a number of the runners and their numbers.
