It was a superb weekend for the Mauritian flag, with seven riders making a visit to the winner's enclosure.

Ashvin Goindasamy started the ball rolling at Auckland - New Zealand on Saturday. He won on board Friday Woolfe (race 5) and Justacanta (race 7). He now has 76 wins to his name.

At Hobart racecourse in Tasmania - Australia, Brandon Louis scored a double on board Geegee Trendsetter (race 4) and Vivid Dreamer (race 7), while Ianish Luximon took out the 6th race on board Miss Iso.

Laqdar Ramoly scored two wins throughout the weekend. In action at Ascot racecourse in Perth - Australia on Saturday, he won the fifth race on board Special Choice, while he won on board Fingermark in the second race at Kalgoorlie on Sunday. Keshaw Dhurun was also in action at Kalgoorlie, and he managed to win the seventh race on board The Beach.

Akshay Balloo rediscovered the winning touch at Ashburton raceway in New Zealand on Sunday. He took out the 9th race on the card, courtesy of Miss Curious.

A few hours later at Sha Tin in Hong Kong, Karis Teetan continued his brilliant start to the new season, scoring a treble on board Amazing Agility (race 1), Resolute (race 6) and Will Power (race 8). He is tied with Zac Purton for second place in the Jockeys' Premiership, with 16 wins to their names.
