Australian jockey Sam Clipperton was unable to ride at last night's meeting at Happy Valley racecourse, Hong Kong, due to a chest infection. Thus, he was forced to give up his rides, including You Have My Word in the 3rd race.

The Benno Yung-trained gelding was ridden by Karis Teetan and the Mauritian jockey took full advantage of his pick-up ride. From the pole position draw, You Have My Word followed in midfield, before accelerating decisively in the final straight, winning in front of Smart Baby (Zac Purton) and Po Ching Treasure (C.Y.Ho).

While You Have My Word struck for the second time this season, he also earned Teetan his 42nd win of the campaign and consolidated his third place in the Jockeys' Premiership.
